Supply Chain Ontology

IRI: https://spec.industrialontologies.org/ontology/supplychain/SupplyChain/

RDF: SupplyChain.rdf

The IOF Supply Chain Ontology aims to represent the generic constructs (including classes and properties) related to the domain of supply chain and logistics. The Supply Chain Ontology uses BFO as the top-level ontology and IOF Core as the mid-level ontology. The purpose of the ontology is to serve as a foundation for ensuring consistency and interoperability across various supply chain and logistics ontologies that use IOF reference ontologies.

Change Note

The https://spec.industrialontologies.org/ontology/202401/supplychain/SupplyChain/ version of this ontology was modified to deprecate four constructs, namely, Gain of Role, Loss of Role, Group of Persons, and Artifact Function. These constructs are moved to the IOF Core ontology (https://spec.industrialontologies.org/ontology/202401/core/Core/). The deprecated constructs are linked to the IOF Core equivalent constructs using owl:equivalentClass.
